| Spent the day running around sorting things out. Got some new tyres, a new camera, a new notebook, and heaps of other stuff we didn't have time to do in Sydney. Among the other pleasures we met Margaret (I think) at Newcastle's "Civic Bike Shop". Among other long distance cycling records she still holds, she is (since 1953) the fastest woman cyclist from Sydney to Melbourne riding the 1100km in less than 33hrs.
After installing a new tyre at 4:00pm I discovered my bottom bracket needed replacing. Bummer. Another trip to Civic & the problem was sorted before 5:30pm. << Prev - Next >> |
